Life coaching is an unregulated industry. There, I said it.
While I’m at it, I will also add, there is no bachelor’s degree or master’s program to become a life coach anywhere. There are federations that have attempted to accredit different programs, but those federations are also financially gaining from the programs they’re accrediting, which is a huge conflict of interest.
If this is a deal breaker for you, then I’m not the right person for you.
The reason why I say this upfront is because our thoughts create our feelings, and our feelings create our actions. Our actions give us the results we have in our life.
I can tell you about the difference between therapy and life coaching. I can tell you about how life coaching fills a need in the mental health world that had never been addressed. I can tell you about the results I will help you achieve. I can give you testimonial after testimonial from my clients about all the benefits they’ve seen from life coaching. I can tell you these things all.day.long.
In the end, if you have thoughts that someone must have a license in a regulated field, and that person has to have a degree from a university to help you, then what I say will not matter because your thoughts will literally stop you from ever accomplishing the results you’d like me to help you achieve.
